• Now over 7 years old.
• Started with 50 members.
• Started out as a national group.
• Now have 1032 members representing 505 offices.
• Now international (Africa, Costa Rica, Canada, Israel, Mexico, Saudi, France, China, Spain, and Iran) with 107 members in 33 offices.
• Have over 20 preferred vendors.
• Produced first video infomercial on Gentle Molding (ortho-k).
• Produced first video infomercial on Bifocal contact lenses.
• Published first 12-chapter full color book on G.M.
• Published first full color booklet on G.M.
• Will soon release a Book, Booklet, and Brochure on Ortho-K.
• Have completed 15 “Practice smarter not harder seminars”.
• Aggressively pursuing new members to increase our buying power through ads in “Optometric
• Management”, and “Contact Lens Spectrum”.
• Attending National and International meetings to grow our membership
• Actively involved and supporting the Orthokeratology Academy of America and serving on their board in marketing.
• Helped members achieve best nets, grosses, and cost of goods.
• We are a work in progress, ever trying to help and support the independent ECPs.
• We’re seeing ourselves as a large, “dirty dozen group”, where we gather and share secrets of practice management.
• We’re learning to buy cooperatively and buy within our group for the best possible prices.
• We never want to have a membership in the thousands.
• Our goal is to have 1,000 members that are active and loyal.
• We are passionate about helping our colleagues.
• We are Exodus… we’re exiting and departing from the old ways and looking forward and prospering in the new.
• On our spherical private label Exodus brand we purchased 25,000 six-packs cooperatively.
